Red Subaru 086A STi Speculation. Cheap Car
While the usual Subaru 086A is expected to be exactly the same as the Toyota version, although with subtle exterior / interior styling differences, the IMS high performance version will get the most attention now that the FT-86 concept has violated this ahead of the closing months of the Tokyo Motor Show. Course 086A utilizing standard Subaru EJ20 flat-four boxer engine with the D4-S direct injection, an Aisin 6-speed gearbox and rear differential as used in the Lexus IS250/350. The output of 200PS is said to have once again cited as being "almost certainly", but the rumors to the contrary from other sources as a minimum set of output 160PS. However, IMS version must answer the prayers of the people for more power.
Holiday Auto (HA) reported that the EJ25 STI version will use a 2.5L engine is expected to produce between 240 - 250PS enough, HA said, to transform into a true performance car 086A. An EJ25 turbo is not excluded, apparently Toyota / Subaru partnership has worked hard to listen to what customers want and if loud enough, can come through with increased STI 086A. Although not confirmed yet, there is a strong possibility the Subaru STI Version 086A will be displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011 or shortly after the Tokyo Auto Salon 2012 and will hit showrooms shortly thereafter.
